JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Engineer

What you’ll bring:

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Experience in CAD such as SolidWorks or similar

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design

What you’ll do:

• Design machined and sheet metal parts

• Create large assembly CAD models

• Develop machinery with complex motion

• Build and test mechanical systems

• Document and present designs

A few other things:

• Role is 80-100% onsite, with up to 10% travel as needed

• Candidates in the Greater Salt Lake City, Utah area are preferred

• Physical work (using machine shop tools, turning wrenches etc…) is sometimes necessary to fabricate prototypes and build machines

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is $70k-$130k however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
