About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Solution Engineers, Software Developers, and Software Integration Engineers to provide technical expertise and develop software solutions that enhance the customer experience. You will work directly with clients and potential clients to diagnose, develop, and deliver end-to-end integrated packaging solutions.

What You’ll

The Software Solutions Engineer is responsible for the support of the sales, integration & implementation process by providing sales, solution design, and technical knowledge to internal and external clients as well as potential clients. You will design and develop software integration solutions, coordinating applications across the customer’s enterprise or its units/departments. You will evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure delivered solutions meet organizational needs and be directly responsible for the diagnosis, configuration, deployment and support of Packsize during all steps of the sales and implementation cycles. You will act as a critical link between customer, implementation teams and product development teams and will be familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures of Warehouse Management Systems. The Software Solutions Engineer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. You will also work hand in hand with the customer during the diagnostic phase to understand their challenges, design a solution, and hand off to Software Integration Engineers for implementation.

You Will Have the Opportunity to

• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Integration, and Product Development teams to understand customer requirements and design software solutions that meet their needs
• Conceptualize and document how Packsize products and solutions impact customer value streams in a variety of industries and verticals

• Develop and implement software solutions and integrations to enhance the functionality and performance of Packsize's packaging systems
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including process flow diagrams and solution overview guides, to facilitate the adoption and usage of Packsize's software solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to Sales, Solution Engineers, and Software Integration Engineers during presales activities, demonstrations, and customer meetings
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Packsize's software products and solutions, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices
• Deliver future product requirements to software product teams for market analysis and feasibility assessment
• Deliver finalized solutions to internal and external teams for implementation

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is required, advanced degrees preferred
• Experience in diagnostic, technical sales or consulting
• Experience with networking and communication protocols
• Experience with Lucidchart (or other chart/flow design tools), communication tools (Slack, Teams, Zoom) and standard Office tools
• Experience integrating and implementing cross platform software solutions preferred
• Experience with ERP, MRP, WMS, or CRM systems a plus
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure a plus
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain or business analysis a plus

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is $100k-$130k however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
