Job Overview:
As a Strategic Account Manager with a strong focus on engineering and innovation at Packsize, you will be instrumental in managing and expanding our strategic partnership with Walmart. Based in Bentonville, AR, you will leverage your technical expertise to develop and execute account strategies that align with Walmart's business objectives, driving mutual growth through advanced packaging solutions. You will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for Packsize to enhance Walmart's packaging operations through innovative engineering.
What You'll Do:

• Technical Account Management: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Walmart's engineering and supply chain needs to tailor innovative packaging solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Innovation-Driven Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with Walmart's technical and business stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment on engineering initiatives.
• Strategic Engineering Planning: Design and implement strategic account plans that leverage Packsize's engineering capabilities to align with Walmart's goals, identifying growth opportunities and potential technical challenges.
• Advanced Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate Packsize's state-of-the-art product offerings, emphasizing the engineering benefits and ROI of right-sized packaging solutions for Walmart.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal engineering, sales, product development, and customer support teams to ensure the seamless integration and delivery of technologically advanced solutions.
• Industry and Technology Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and Walmart's evolving technical needs to proactively address challenges and seize engineering opportunities.
• Performance Metrics and Engineering Insights: Monitor and report on account performance metrics, using engineering insights to ensure targets are met and identify areas for technical improvement.
• Technical Contract Negotiation: Lead contract discussions and negotiations, ensuring terms and agreements align with Packsize's engineering objectives and business goals.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in strategic account management with a focus on engineering or technical accounts, preferably within the packaging or supply chain industries.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of engineering principles, retail industry dynamics, and supply chain operations, particularly related to innovative packaging solutions.
• Relationship and Innovation Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels and drive engineering innovation.
• Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic engineering plans that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
• Problem-Solving with Engineering Focus: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying technical pain points and proposing effective engineering solutions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA is advantageous.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bentonville, AR, with the ability to travel as needed.
