About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented US Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Financial Reporting, Documentation, and Revenue Recognition, along with a background in Big 4 accounting and a CPA certification. This role will support the Accounting Department in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do
Assist in the management and tracking of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations, including preparation and filing of sales tax returns.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial reporting systems.
Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller.
What You’ll Bring
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3+ years in a Big 4 accounting firm.
SOX 404 Control Experience (through Audit or working at a Public Company)
Strong knowledge of fixed assets management and sales tax compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Sit/stand at a desk for prolonged periods, primarily sedentary work
Communicate with others to exchange information

Perform tasks that require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying to move objects
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $160,000-180,000 USD / yr, however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
