About the Role
Packsize is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement and support business strategy for corrugated and consumable supply chain. The supplier quality engineering will ensure materials supplied to Packsize meet quality expectations, while fostering a mutually beneficial supply chain. This position requires a solid understanding of quality principles, knowledge of inspection sampling plans, and a continuous improvement mindset. The supplier quality engineer must be highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable holding others accountable. In this role, there will be 25-50% travel to support supplier and customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
Manage Deviations, Quality Requests, nonconfomance reports, corrective actions, and supplier corrective actions.
Update and monitor suppliers' scores and performance (questionnaires, audits, inspection data, etc.), and hold suppliers accountable when material specifications are not achieved.
Build relationships with suppliers and lead continuous improvement projects of their quality processes.
Maintain existing specifications and support R&D in developing new consumable specifications. Develop and maintain an inspection plan to ensure material is consistently high quality.
Support the corrugated material certifications (e.g., FSC, SFI) and support customer audits of corrugators.

3-6 years demonstrated experience in quality or continuous improvement, preferably in a manufacturing setting
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $77,000 - 83,000 however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
