About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Global Occupational Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives worldwide, with a strong focus on supporting both production operations and service technicians in the field. The primary role will be to foster a culture of safety across our global operations, as well as to drive safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance, particularly for employees working in diverse and challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in occupational health and safety, risk management, and international safety standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement, and oversee global occupational safety policies and programs tailored to both facility-based and field-based service technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits across multiple sites, including remote field locations, to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Design and implement safety protocols specific to service technicians working in high-risk or customer-site environments.
  • Lead safety training programs to promote best practices and continuous improvement, including hands-on safety drills and field-specific hazard training.
  • Investigate incidents, root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence, with a particular focus on incidents occurring in the field.
  • Ensure safety concerns tied to product design are shared with the R&D safety team.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and service managers to ensure field technicians have the necessary safety equipment, training, and resources.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement, especially in mobile work environments.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging or innovative safety technologies to improve technician safety in the field.
  • Partner with senior leadership and product development engineering to integrate safety into business strategy and decision-making.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in occupational safety management, preferably in a multinational or field-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of global safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO, ANSI, etc.).
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing safety programs, particularly for field service teams working in diverse and remote locations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally and conduct site visits as needed.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) preferred.

  • Perform tasks that require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying to move objects

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 100,700-117,600 USD; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
